Top In-Plant Leaders Offer Their One Piece of Advice for Other In-Plants
When four top in-plant print center leaders were asked what one piece of advice they would give other in-plant directors, here is what they offered:
- Progressive's Tom Rorhbach advises in-plants to leverage their position as the only provider who exclusively services the organization.
- Colorado State Printer Mike Lincoln suggests that in-plants focus on quality in every aspect of business, ensuring they know what quality means as well as their customers.
- Abbas Badani, who will present at an In-Plant Graphics webinar on February 11, 2014 and is the director at Penn State, has strategic advice: Be more than just the print expert. He suggests that in-plants position themselves by offering other things to customers that they value, which will provide more revenue opportunities.
- Garry Boytos of University of Texas Health Sciences San Antonio's (UTHSCSA) suggests that in-plants be an innovative solution provider --- the first solution customers seek, not the last resort. Hear their full advice in this four-minute video.
