Description
This team works to identify and match technology opportunities with the customer’s business issues and objectives. Sales Engineers drive sales with their technical expertise, account management skills, and superior customer focus. By providing expert knowledge on RSA products and services, they remove technical hurdles from the Sales process. Professional Services will also interact heavily with team members from RSA Sales, Engineering, Customer Service, and Training. This position reports directly to the Professional Services Manager.

Education
Degree in computer science/information technology; or equivalent work experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-going Project Management support on large, complex, diverse and challenging technology initiatives.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects, tasks, and deliverables simultaneously.
- Locate opportunities for increasing revenue from Professional Services offerings.
- Locate opportunities for process improvements and documentation changes to enhance the success, simplicity, and repeatability of sales cycles.
- Act as primary stakeholder within RSA for certain named accounts which are highly strategic or require executive-level oversight.
- Contribute in presenting on RSA technologies and capabilities to our channel partners and prospects.
- Demonstrate RSA products to prospects, partners, and customers via Web conferencing, as well as in person at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc.
- Clearly communicate highly technical concepts to a wide range of audiences.
- Analyze customer needs and translate them into deliverable technical solutions.
- Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.
- Respond to and complete complex security questionnaires.
- Deliver clear and accurate system and workflow diagrams, professional PowerPoints, and highly-detailed Statement of Work documents.
- Provide any other services necessary to support the Sales team in winning business.
- Travel throughout the U.S. upon request in support of the above duties (Travel is 10% or less).

Experience
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the software industry.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the printing industry, esp. production printing.
- (Desirable) Thorough understanding of mainframe, transactional printing technologies and processes.
